“Failure is never an option with commencement. There are no do-overs.”

What began as a place where students could come to exercise creativity has grown into a social nexus as well.

It was the first event of ºÚÁÏÉçapp’s 2023 Commencement day.

The new commencement festival offers fun amenities and atmosphere to engage grads and guests.

The two colleges graduated a combined 1,005 students in one of the final events of the day.

“I decided I wanted to take [my] negative experience and turn it into a positive.”

Formerly known as affinity graduations, the events awarded stoles and certificates for participating graduates.

The day proceeded in a new venue with the familiar rhythms and emotions of past commencement celebrations.

They advance to the NCAA Division II Super Regional round following a 13–12 victory over Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday.

The event moved from a two-day affair at the ºÚÁÏÉçapp Stadium to a one-day unified event at the Salinas Sports Complex.
