About Professional Development and CEUs
At ºÚÁÏÉçapp, we work with employers, educators and business groups to provide learning and credentialing opportunities to meet local needs in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties, and have online courses available worldwide, too.
Professional Development
Our professional development courses are offered in partnership with educational service providers in the legal, human resources and tech industries. These courses are offered online, vary in length and help you advance your career.
Continuing Education (CEUs)
A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized measuring method used to quantify approved learning during professional development and training activities. Events are qualified on the number of training hours provided:
- One (1.0) CEU is earned for 10 clock hours spent in a planned, structured learning experience or activity.
- A unit conversion example: one (1.0) CEU is equivalent to one (1.0) non-degree track quarter unit (10 hours) value.
- CEUs are not academic units and cannot be transferred to a degree program.
- Prior to registering, students should check with their district office or state licensing agency.
Transcripts for Professional Development, CEUs and Non-Credit Programs
All CEU and non-credit transcripts are processed through the ºÚÁÏÉçapp records office. Please visit the ºÚÁÏÉçapp transcripts page to find instructions on how to order your transcripts. Follow the link under “Former Student” and submit your transcript request.
Order your official transcripts after you view your grade in your OASIS Student Account. If you order a transcript before the grade, you will see the class with no grade. You will need to reorder the transcript after the grade is posted.
